after one week and a half of distress and piled up to-do's, finally the most hectic and crammed up class project has passed. I AM FREE FROM STRESS AND CAN CALM IN CLASSES AGAIN! Although we have no exam's week or called as "Hell Week" in graded schools, this week has been the nearest example of a hell-like week in a non-graded school. This is the most crammed up activity yet for this year. The proximity of the starting date to the due date convinced me so.

This "activity" I kept ranting about is created and pushed through by the English administration of my school for all 3rd high school students. They created it as a dedication for the English Month. To unclothe the confidentiality, it was called a "Theatrical Play" for its aim to show a play portraying a trending news in our improvised Cultural Center -slash- our humble room. Unfortunately, it was announced only last week and the live show is on 11.25.11 which was yesterday. The given limited time ruined the spasm of excitement.

The To-Do-List to win:

1.) Make a Script

2.) Memorize Script

3.) Make a draft for Room

4.) Organize the Props

5.) Cast Characters

6.) Prepare props and costumes

7.) Rehearse Play

8.) Fix humble room to potential Cultural Center

9.) Show time

The list is near to perfection already but the flow of actions is as slow as a turtle. I had a feeling since the first day of the planning that it would be a bad performance for my class but c'mon, a kid can dream right? As the president, I was the director and I swear to Zeus that dang it's hard, the ball of responsibility is as big as the sun! When it was 11.24.11 (last day to prepare before the showing), the preparation of the props and rehearsal was done simultaneously regardless of some classmates who for peter's sake never helped nor tried to. Only number of learners really persevered and prospered to win.

We may placed last however, I have witnessed the most professional crammers ever. I am still exasperated by what the judges' said but HEY AT LEAST WE MADE A JUDGE LAUGH, actress' fault.

Moral Lesson: DO NOT CRAM AND NEVER EVER NEVER BE A DIRECTOR OF A PLAY WHICH CREW IS DISORGANIZED.
